Guardian Rank is a different way to level up that is activated after you finish Borderlands 3's main storyline.
You can spend a range of Bonus Stats by leveling up your Guardian Rank, which will give you an advantage over your opponents, especially if you play in Mayhem Mode.
Alongside the Bonus Stats, if you spend enough Guardian Tokens into a particular set of Bonus Stats, you will earn unique incentives.
What Is Guardian Rank In The Borderlands 3?
Guardian Rank is an extra leveling option unlocked after the key plotline for Borderlands 3 has been completed.
Over your standard experience bar, the purple Guardian Level experience bar will appear.
- time you complete a side quest, complete a task, destroy an opponent, or do something else that will award you with experience in Borderlands 3, you will gain Guardian Rank experience.
You'll win a Guardian Token when the experience bar is complete.
You can spend the Guardian Token on the Bonus Stats boost.

The Bonus Stats on which you can invest your Guardian Tokens are broken into three sets, with a different focus on each.
You can use your Guardian Token on three separate sets of Bonus Stats:
- Enforcer - focuses on Stats dependent on Damage.
- Survivor - relies on defensive statistics dependent on
- Finder - works on improving battle stats
You'll be given the option of two random stats from each collection any time you receive a Guardian Token.
Pick carefully - per Guardian Token, and you can only select one attribute.

Guardian Incentives are extra rewards from using the Guardian Tokens that you will earn.
Per Bonus Stats Package has its own Guardian Rewards package, which includes new Passive Abilities and cosmetic items.
By spending a certain amount of Guardian Tokens in a Bonus Stats Package, you unlock each reward.
For starters, if you wanted to unlock the Leather and Regret Weapon Skills, you would need to pick a Survivor Set Bonus Stat 10 times in a row.

Enforcer
- Red Sands Weapon Skin - 10 Tokens
- Inner Fury - Adds 10% Gun Damage to all shots while in Fight for Your Life - 15 Tokens
- Overkill - Excess damage from a kill is added to your next shot - 25 Tokens
- Urban Blammo Player Skin - 35 Tokens
- C-C-Combo - Increases Gun Damage by 2% for 1 second for each shot - 50 Tokens
- Hollow Point - Killing an enemy with a critical hit causes an explosion around them - 75 Tokens
Survivor
- Leather and Regret Weapon Skill - 10 Tokens
- Resilient - Recover from Fight For Your Life with full health and shields - 15 Tokens
- Dead Man's Hand - Removes aim penalties and allows aiming down sights during Fight for Your Life - 25 Tokens
- Hex Bolts Player Skin - 35 Tokens
- Shield Reboot - Killing an enemy triggers shield regeneration - 50 Tokens
- Emergency Response - Improve Shield Recharge Delay and Rate based on missing health - 75 Tokens
Hunter
- Dead Set Weapon Skin - 10 Tokens
- Bullet Collector - Ammo pickups provide 15% extra ammo - 15 Tokens
